neat-o jap ads

working in the 21st century ad industry, i found the refined aesthetic of these ads to be very refreshing. oh, japan! you always do me so well.

by next year, i will have thrown myself headfirst into digital design. mark thine words.

sunnycold

hi.

tis’ the flippin season to be drunky cozy and jolly. easy peesy. no commas.

prime example: i’m sitting in the east village drinking tea painting my nails listening to mitch hedberg taking care of some emails and feeling like an out-of-focus joy monster. my current state has much to do with the sunny cold weather the smell of pine holiday lights crazed shoppers rosy cheeks santa hats and the bundled babies outside.

SantaCon NYC was awesome. Being festive is drinking beer in a santa hat.

“The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.”
